Our Story
Nexus Consulting was founded by Jessica and Joslyn Schultz with a shared goal of helping organizations manage change, strengthen internal capacity, and achieve meaningful results.
As a Yukon-based mother-daughter team, we bring together complementary strengths that allow us to support organizations from both a strategic and practical perspective. Our approach combines leadership, planning, and organizational development with the systems and tools to turn ideas into action.
We work with organizations to provide solutions that improve processes, support transitions, and strengthen long-term sustainability.

Joslyn Schultz
Management Partner
After more than 30 years with the Government of Yukon, Jessica Schultz retired from the public service in December 2025 and co-founded Nexus Consulting alongside her daughter, Joslyn.
Throughout her career, Jessica held progressively senior leadership roles in financial management, strategic planning, governance, and organizational operations. She concluded her public service career as Deputy Minister of Finance and Secretary to Management Board, providing strategic financial leadership and supporting major budget, policy, and operational decisions across government.
Jessica's experience includes serving as Assistant Deputy Minister of the Management Board Secretariat, Deputy Secretary to Management Board, and Director of Finance, Systems and Administration. She has worked closely with government departments, First Nation governments, community organizations, and partner organizations across the Yukon.
Through Nexus Consulting, Jessica provides strategic advice, financial leadership, governance support, and practical solutions that help organizations strengthen operations and achieve their goals.
Joslyn Schultz co-founded Nexus Consulting with a passion for helping organizations create clear systems, efficient processes, and practical solutions that support day-to-day operations.
Since joining Yukon Housing Corporation in 2017, Joslyn has built experience across financial administration, procurement, contracting, financial reporting, technical support, and process improvement. Her background includes roles in finance, technology infrastructure, procurement, and administrative services, giving her a broad understanding of how systems and operations work together.
In addition to her operational experience, Joslyn has formal training in Graphic Design and Web Page Design and has developed websites and communication materials for a variety of clients. She combines technical knowledge, organizational skills, and creative design to develop tools and resources that are both effective and easy to use.
Through Nexus Consulting, Joslyn helps organizations improve workflows, strengthen processes, organize information, and create solutions that support long-term success.
